Innovative project to research the combustion behavior of mixed gases

Hans Hennig GmbH is pleased to have completed a groundbreaking project for a renowned research institute. As part of this project, a state-of-the-art test facility for investigating the combustion behavior of mixed gases in a combustion chamber, with a specially developed multi-fuel burner, was realized. This system allows gases such as natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia and combustion air to be mixed with maximum precision and fed flexibly to the burner. The aim is to gain valuable insights into the combustion properties and reactions of different gas combinations and thus further advance research into innovative, more environmentally friendly combustion technologies.

Hans Hennig GmbH was responsible for the complete planning, engineering and commissioning of the plant and has thus implemented a unique project that is being used for the first time in this form in Germany. A special feature of the system is the flexible control range with a mixing ratio and control of 1:10, which means that a large output range can be covered.
